About the Author
Mandy is a technician learning and development specialist at Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Sorrento Valley, in California. She earned her VTS credential in 2017 and has been in veterinary medicine since 2009. Prior to her career in veterinary medicine, she served in the U.S. Navy. Mandy enjoys teaching and has a passion for critical care cases such as distributive shock cases, polytraumas, cardiorespiratory cases, neurologic cases, and neonatal and pediatric cases. In her free time, she is an avid runner who takes her 2 border collies, Whisper and Cannoli, on hikes and runs.
