About the Author
Chelsey earned her veterinary technician license from Northern Virginia Community College. After graduation, she worked in the anesthesia department at the University of Florida, the small animal anesthesia department of the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital, and NC State’s exotic animal medicine service. She currently works as a relief veterinary nurse and provides in-house training throughout the East Coast. She obtained her VTS credential in anesthesia/analgesia in 2017 and has experience anesthetizing everything from betta fish to elephants. She is especially interested in providing all patients with multimodal anesthesia and custom-tailored anesthesia protocols and teaching veterinary professionals.
