About the Author
Ann is a graduate of Michigan State University. She received her specialty certifications in emergency/critical care in 2000, small animal internal medicine in 2008, and nutrition in 2013. She attained Elite Fear Free certification in 2020 and has worked in general, specialty, and emergency practices, as well as education and management. She is currently a faculty member at Appalachian State University within the veterinary technology program, as well as an active speaker and writer.
