Vet2Pet introduces client engagement platform for equine practices

Vet2Pet, a client engagement and communication platform for veterinary practices, has released a version of its service geared toward equine practices.

According to Vet2Pet, the new platform is similar to its small-animal practice product but will include features that are important for equine practitioners and their clients.

The equine platform includes a custom-branded practice app, which horse owners can search for in their smartphone app store under their practice’s name. Using the app, clients can book appointments, exchange chat messages and documents, share photos and videos of their horses, pay invoices, receive health service reminders, order medication and supplement refills, and participate in the practice’s loyalty program.

Vet2Pet says the chat feature on the app can save time and money by avoiding unnecessary house calls or appointments.

“With this new product, equine practitioners can experience the same benefits their small-animal counterparts have been experiencing for years,” said Vet2Pet founder and CEO Dr. Stacee Santi. “And horse owners will appreciate the conveniences of engaging with their veterinarian through an intuitive, easy-to-use app.”
