MWI Animal Health’s annual golf tournament took place in Boise, Idaho. Teams consisted of MWI leaders, vendors, MWI and Cencora team members, as well as family and friends. Proceeds from the outing benefited Wings of Rescue, MWI’s national non-profit partner, as well as local organizations Ride for Joy and SNIP Idaho. “This reflects MWI’s commitment to making a positive impact both nationally and in the communities we serve,” the company said.

In addition to the golf tournament, the MWI team hosted its third annual vendor summit, bringing together top vendor partners for a dynamic week of strengthening partnerships and aligning efforts across the industry.

For the first time, MWI also hosted a Sustainability in Action breakfast for vendor partners. This breakfast aimed to showcase innovative solutions MWI provides, such as order consolidation and reusable totes, which not only reduce environmental impact but also enhance operational efficiency. Attendees heard from a diverse panel of customers who shared their insights on sustainability and the significant impact of MWI’s solutions. These speakers emphasized how order consolidation streamlines operations, simplifies inventory management and enhances scheduling efficiency. They noted that receiving inventory in reusable totes further optimizes the process, reduces disposal costs, and positively impacts staff morale, as teams feel good about contributing to environmental sustainability.
