{"id":21401,"date":"2020-07-24T18:18:45","date_gmt":"2020-07-24T18:18:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/todaysveterinarypractice.com\/?p=21401"},"modified":"2022-02-18T20:47:41","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T20:47:41","slug":"mhr-brands-product-recall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/navc.sitepreview.app\/todaysveterinarypractice.com\/news\/mhr-brands-product-recall\/","title":{"rendered":"FDA Announces Recall of MHR Brands Products for High Lead Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Food &amp; Drug Administration (FDA) posts notices of voluntary product recalls or safety alerts in order to inform practitioners and consumers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/inhe-manufacturing-llc-and-mhr-brands-issues-voluntary-nationwide-recall-several-products-due\">A July announcement<\/a> included several products that have been voluntarily recalled by the producers for having high lead content.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FDA, InHe Manufacturing, LLC and MHR Brands learned of the presence of elevated heavy metals in some products from the Florida Department of Health. The company traced the issue to graduated droppers provided by a third-party packaging supplier. In addition, if you may have further distributed this product, please identify your customers and notify them at once of this product recall.
