Assisi Animal Health Unveils the Assisi Loop 2.0
Assisi Animal Health has unveiled the Assisi Loop 2.0, a nonpharmaceutical anti-inflammatory device (NPAID). The Assisi Loop 2.0 uses patented targeted pulsed electromagnetic field (tPEMF) technology that has been demonstrated through laboratory testing to have an effect on the known biochemical and cellular mechanisms of action related to inflammation. The Assisi Loop 2.0 can be prescribed by veterinarians to treat orthopedic injuries, degenerative neurologic issues, postsurgical pain and swelling, inflammatory conditions, and wounds. vetOvation Video Smartscope System Now Available for iPhone
The vetOvation smartScope system utilizes an iPhone to perform video otology and rhinoscopy, and assist during intubation. The images and video of the anatomy inside a patient’s ears and nose are captured on the iPhone and can be shared with a client via email. The dual channel otoscope enables continuous lavage along with removal of wax and hair. Nutramax Laboratories Launches Marin Plus
Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc has introduced Marin Plus for dogs, a new liver health supplement that combines classic Marin for dogs with NMXCC95 curcumin extract and medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. Cerenia Now Approved for Use in Dogs Until Vomiting Resolved
Zoetis, Inc has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved an update to the labeling for CERENIA (maropitant citrate) tablets. The revised label now allows for once-daily administration until resolution of acute vomiting for dogs 7 months of age and older. Previously, the dosing and administration instructions limited use to 5 consecutive days for prevention of acute vomiting. Purina Debuts Natural Therapeutic Diets for Dogs and Cats
