About the Author
Dr. Lilly is an assistant professor overseeing the Behavioral Medicine Service at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center. She received her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011 and spent 4 years in general practice. She completed a specialty internship in behavioral medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a behavioral medicine residency at The Ohio State University, where she then joined the faculty, teaching residents and veterinary students. She serves on the Ohio VMA Behavior Education Committee, the ACVB examination committee, reviews low-stress topics for VIN, and is a consultant for Dutch Pet, Inc., a behavioral telemedicine service. She is Cat Friendly, Fear Free Elite, Fear Free Shelter, and Low Stress Handling Silver certified. When not working, she enjoys kitten cuddles and landscaping.
