About the Author
Dr. Tobias is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at Purdue University and a surgical residency and masterās degree at the Ohio State University. Dr. Tobias served as a clinical instructor at the University of Georgia and a tenured faculty member at Washington State University and is currently a professor of small animal surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Tobias is an author or coauthor and editor of 3 textbooks, including Veterinary Surgery: Small Animal, and has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications.Ā
