MVB, DACVECC, DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine)
Lesley G. King, MVB, DACVECC, DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine), was the editor-in-chief of Today’s Veterinary Practice when it was first launched in 2011; in late 2014, she oversaw TVP being added to the NAVC’s portfolio. At the time of her death on May 14, 2016, at the age of 51, Dr. King was also a Professor of Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she spent her entire career. She was instrumental in the development of the veterinary intensive care specialty and trained numerous emergency and critical care residents, interns, and technicians. Dr. King received her veterinary degree from University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine.
