Patty Lathan

About the Author

Dr. Lathan received a BA in chemistry from Texas A&M University and a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed an internship at Mississippi State University and a small animal internal medicine residency at Purdue University in 2007. She is an associate professor of small animal internal medicine at Mississippi State University. Her primary interest is endocrinology, specifically the management of adrenal disease and diabetes mellitus. She has published several articles and book chapters, given lectures throughout the United States and internationally, and is president of the Society for Comparative Endocrinology.
