Experienced instructors will share information on anesthesia delivery equipment, anesthetic, analgesic and adjunctive medications, techniques for drug delivery, avenues for providing supportive care and interpretation of monitoring tools.<\/p>\n<p>After completing this program, veterinary nurses and technicians will have gained the ability to select appropriate anesthesia equipment for a given patient; understand how different components can affect anesthesia management; calculate how much oxygen is available in supply tanks; know how to fill and empty a vaporizer; determine the oxygen flow rate and vaporizer setting to use for inhalation anesthesia induction and maintenance; and appropriately select ventilator settings for a given patient.<\/p>\n<h3>Everyday Behavioral Medicine May 21-22, 2022 \u2022 12 CE Credits<\/h3>\n<p>This course focuses on ensuring that veterinary nurses and technicians\u2014 whether they are new to behavioral medicine or have been working with behavior for years\u2014maximize their<br \/>\nability to communicate with clients and observe and interpret patient behavior.
