Terms were not disclosed. \u201cBy acquiring Victor Medical, Midwest Veterinary Supply will be able to immediately offer their customers a larger portfolio of products and services they can access to better serve their patients,\u201d Minnesota-based Midwest reported.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Zoetis to Launch Vetscan OptiCell<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Zoetis Inc. will accept U.S. preorders for the new Vetscan OptiCell beginning in late 2024. The cartridge-based, AI-powered hematology tool provides advanced complete blood count analysis, according to Zoetis. \u201cFor the first time, we are able to use advanced AI image-recognition technology to characterize the blood cells instead of relying on their size or other physical parameters,\u201d said Dr. Richard Goldstein, the company\u2019s global chief medical officer.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Apply Now for VETTY Marketing Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The North American Veterinary Community, the publisher of <em>Today\u2019s Veterinary Business<\/em>, is accepting entries for the VETTY animal health marketing awards. According to Petco, \u201cThe decision was made in line with the company\u2019s longstanding Think Adoption First philosophy, which encourages prospective pet parents to consider adopting a homeless Molnupiravir to Treat FIP<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Wedgewood Pharmacy has added molnupiravir to its formulary as a first- and second-line therapy for feline infectious peritonitis. \u201cWedgewood will be the first U.S. veterinary compounding pharmacy to offer feline-friendly formulations of molnupiravir in a variety of doses designed to combat the different forms of FIP,\u201d the company
