The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) announced the launch of a new series of in-person veterinary events, called NAVC HiVE.<\/a> These events expand the NAVC\u2019s educational offerings beyond VMX, the world\u2019s largest veterinary continuing education conference and the flagship event for the Florida-based nonprofit organization. NAVC HiVE will be a collection of in-person meetings with different focuses held in various parts of the country. The first event, the Vet Nurse+Tech HiVE, opened registration and is scheduled for October 16-18, 2023, in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the veterinary industry continues to evolve, so do the professional development and learning needs of the community and the challenges they face,\u201d said NAVC CEO Gene O\u2019Neill in a release.<\/p>\n

The NAVC, publisher of Today\u2019s Veterinary Business<\/em>, hosts VMX and the NAVC Institute annually in Orlando, Florida. The launch of NAVC HiVE marks an expansion of the organization\u2019s footprint and offering of educational experiences. While VMX is designed as a comprehensive conference covering all aspects of veterinary care, NAVC HiVE events will key in on more specific topics, offering organizers the chance to nimbly address emerging issues.<\/p>\n
