The e-book details \u201ctalking with clients about why and when they should go to the veterinarian, the range of services that a veterinary practice offers, and how to pay for veterinary services,\u201d the association reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal is to help our members better engage with their clients so pet owners bring their animals in for regular checkups and follow their veterinarians\u2019 recommendations,\u201d said AVMA President Jos\u00e9 Arce, DVM. \u201cImproved communications can also help alleviate some of the pressures that veterinarians, clinic staffs and pet owners are currently experiencing because of the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mars Veterinary Health, meanwhile, is sharing videos captured at the company\u2019s virtual Medical Summit earlier this year. Viewers can earn continuing education credits by watching the content at <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/3lF5hgl\">bit.ly\/3lF5hgl<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the videos are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cPatient Safety Culture and the Second-Victim Concept,\u201d by Dr. Albert Wu.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cImportance of Continuous Improvement in Healthcare,\u201d by Dr. Magnus Lord.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWhy Errors Occur and How to Learn From Them,\u201d by Drs.
