Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

ViralVet, a 2-year-old mobile app that allows veterinary professionals to share and comment on strange, challenging or thought-provoking clinical cases, has reached more than 10,000 users.
App developer XPrep Learning Solutions Inc. reported Sept. 18 that the Facebook-like educational tool is used globally.
“Veterinary professionals from around the world have been able to see, share and collaborate cases that they otherwise may have never seen in their careers,” said company co-founder Mauricio Dujowich, DVM, DACVS. “Veterinarians are able to help each other and connect at a mobile level, which has never been done in the veterinary space.”
The app permits users to post photos, pose and answer questions, “like” and share a case, and search by keyword, species or veterinary specialty.
ViralVet is designed for Apple and Android devices and may be downloaded for free through the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
XPrep Learning Solutions, headquartered in Solana Beach, California, also developed the licensing-exam review platforms VetPrep and VetTechPrep.
