BluePearl Cancer Center Uses CyberKnife
BluePearl Malvern, part of the BluePearl Pet Hospital network, reported having the only CyberKnife solely used in veterinary medicine. CyberKnife, manufactured by Accuray, is a noninvasive treatment for cancerous and noncancerous tumors and other conditions where radiation therapy is indicated. The robotic system is located at BluePearl Veterinary CyberKnife Cancer Center in Pennsylvania.
NaVetor Works With Vetsource on Drug Fulfillment
NaVetor veterinary cloud software is now integrated with Vetsource, a provider of prescription management services. “When veterinarians recommend a therapy in the patient’s medical record within NaVetor, their clients receive an email notification that drives them to an online store, branded for the veterinary practice, to make the purchase, search for other products, set up auto-ship, and take advantage of ongoing promotions,” Navetor stated. The software is offered through Patterson Veterinary Supply.
Provet Cloud Supports Inventory Ally
Inventory Ally, a software solution for reducing inventory costs, has announced an integration with Provet Cloud practice management software. According to Inventory Ally, the advantages of integration include proactive low-stock alerts, improved tracking and optimized order recommendations.
VetPartners Honors Drs. Weinstein and Becker
VetPartners, an association of veterinary industry consultants and service providers, paid tribute to two longtime veterinarians. Consultant and VetPartners charter member Dr. Peter Weinstein received the Distinguished Life Member Award. Fear Free founder Dr. Marty Becker was given the Pioneer Professional Award. The presentations took place at the organization’s midyear conference in Kansas City, Missouri.
Apply Now for Embrace-AVMF Scholarship
Embrace Pet Insurance is partnering with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation to support a scholarship program dedicated to veterinary students pursuing careers in shelter medicine. “This two-year initiative will award a total of $50,000 in scholarships,” Embrace stated. “Each year, five veterinary students will receive $5,000 grants, amounting to 10 students receiving scholarships over the program’s duration.” The application period for the current cycle ends Sept. 30. Patterson Veterinary Supply added the Florida-based company pute.us to its product offerings. “A provider of both hardware and managed concierge IT services for veterinary practices nationwide, pute.us is the only veterinary-specific provider in the space,” Patterson reported. “All its employees have veterinary medical backgrounds.”
GlobalVetLink Assists With Rabies Certificates
GlobalVetLink has simplified the creation and submission of rabies vaccination certificates to ensure compliance with state and local regulations. The feature is available through GlobalVetLink’s Compliance Assistant platform. “We understand the challenges that veterinary clinics face in managing rabies vaccination documentation,” said Steve Adamson, the company’s chief technology officer. “Our solution is designed to eliminate these obstacles, providing a seamless, efficient and compliant way to handle rabies vaccination certificates.”

MWI Animal Health has become the exclusive distributor of CASCO Pet’s entire WELLKennels product range. CASCO Pet animal enclosures are found in stores, veterinary practices and education facilities.
Inspire Hopes to Acquire Vetsie.ai
Inspire Veterinary Partners, a Virginia-based hospital network, has entered into a nonbinding letter of intent to acquire Vetsie.ai, an artificial intelligence software platform designed to assess patient conditions, treatments and medications. The deal, if consummated, would be a stock-only transaction.
Weave Unveils Payment Reminders Option
Weave, a billing and payments service provider for small and medium-sized health care practices, has launched a new feature. “Payment Reminders automate payment requests once a Weave invoice or text-to-pay request has been created, encouraging customers to pay their outstanding balances online,” the company stated.
VIP Appoints Chief Medical Officer
The 70-hospital Veterinary Innovative Partners network has hired Dr. Emily Hubbard as chief medical officer. She is the former director of veterinary quality at Banfield Pet Hospital, where she previously held roles ranging from associate veterinarian to regional director of medical quality. Dr. Hubbard is based in Nashville, Tennessee, where VIP recently established its new headquarters.
Pumpkin Offers Preventive Care Plan
