Royal Canin has expanded its veterinary pet food catalog with five new diets.
“We are confident these unique diets will help veterinarians who need alternate diet options in gastrointestinal management,” said Jean-Lin Pelatan, the general manager of the Royal Canin U.S. Veterinary Business Unit.
According to the company, the new products and their benefits are:
- Gastrointestinal Low Fat + Hydrolyzed Protein for dogs needing a fat-restricted diet. The food contains highly digestible hydrolyzed soy protein to supports long-term GI health in dogs with food-responsive sensitivities.
- Gastrointestinal Low Fat Small Dog, a highly digestible formula containing balanced fibers and prebiotics to support healthy digestion and food transit.
- Gastrointestinal High Fiber Loaf in Sauce to help regulate intestinal transit in dogs. It also promotes adequate energy levels to maintain a healthy body weight.
- Gastrointestinal Hydrolyzed Protein, which contains highly digestible soy protein and a fiber blend to promote long-term GI health in cats that might experience food-triggering sensitivities.
- Gastrointestinal Fiber Response Thin Slices in Gravy, a psyllium-enhanced diet to help normalize an adult cat’s stool frequency and quality.
