The KC Animal Health Corridor is currently accepting Emerging Company applications for the 2026 Animal Health Summit. The annual event will be held in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, August 31 through September 1, and offers selected applicants the chance to present their business plans and technologies before a panel of investors, partners, and industry experts.
The Animal Health Summit serves as a global showcase, providing innovators with opportunities to refine their messaging, accelerate growth, and secure funding. Selected companies represent all areas of the animal health ecosystem, including pharmaceuticals, biologics, nutrition, diagnostics, and technology. According to organizers, previous Emerging Company presenters have collectively secured nearly $1 billion in funding, along with partnerships, acquisition offers, and distribution contracts.
Previous Innovation Award winners include Snoretox Ltd. (2025), EmGenisys (2024), and Akston Biosciences (2023).
Eligible companies must serve the companion animal health, agricultural technology, or food animal production industries. Applicants should be seeking $500,000 to $20 million in funding or strategic partnerships and anticipate $20 million in revenue within five to seven years.
Companies selected to present at the Summit will receive mentorship from industry experts, assistance with pitch deck and investor profile development, two practice pitch sessions with real-time feedback, and media promotion.
The application deadline is April 1, 2026, and applicants will be notified of the results by June 19. Full application and details are available at bit.ly/4ufpQCt.
