Maine Emerges as a Center for Animal Health

Companies like Idexx and ImmuCell are investing tens of millions of dollars in their East Coast businesses.

$17,500 is at stake in The Idea competition. Applications are due July 1.

The takeover gives the drug maker a larger foothold in the veterinary diagnostics arena.
