Gail Golab is Associate Executive Vice President and Chief Veterinary Officer at AVMA. Dr. Golab heads the AVMA’s Professional Policy and Practice Unit, which includes the association’s Animal Welfare, Animal and Public Health, and Global Outreach Divisions. She graduated with a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and a DVM from the University of Illinois.
