Bravecto Quantum Enters Canadian Market
Health Canada has approved the use of Merck Animal Health’s Bravecto Quantum, a once-yearly injectable product for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations in dogs. U.S. approval was granted in July 2025. Bravecto Quantum, winner of the 2024 Edison Awards and the 2024 S&P Global Awards for Best New Companion Animal Product, is currently approved in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Viticus Starts Work on Nashville Campus
Viticus Group, which hosts the annual WVC event in Las Vegas, has broken ground on an education center in Nashville, Tennessee. “This critical milestone secures the physical location for the organization’s East Coast and Southeast expansion, which is set to significantly increase accessibility to its hands-on training programs in a purpose-built, real-world environment,” Viticus Group stated. The WVC Nashville veterinary CE conference is scheduled to take place in August 2026. Year-round labs are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
Terravet Is Now Terramed Real Estate Solutions
Terravet Real Estate Solutions, which specializes in veterinary properties, has rebranded itself Terramed Real Estate Solutions. “The new name accompanies an expansion into the fields of ophthalmology and fertility following more than a decade of success serving veterinary providers and investors,” the company reported. “The same team, process and sector expertise that have defined Terravet remain in place.”
ScribbleVet Teams Up With Vetology
ScribbleVet, which makes an AI-powered scribe tool, is partnering with Vetology to streamline veterinary radiology workflows. The integration is designed to reduce errors, save time and improve accuracy in radiology referrals. According to the companies, “During a patient exam, ScribbleVet’s AI scribe tool automatically generates a SOAP note from the veterinarian-client conversation. If a veterinarian chooses to submit a case to Vetology for a radiologist to review, ScribbleVet can identify relevant details directly from the SOAP note and populate the Vetology teleradiology form with one click via the ScribbleVet Browser Companion.”
CareCredit Becomes Financing Partner for mClub Members
Synchrony, the parent company of CareCredit, has announced a partnership with Midwest Veterinary Supply’s mClub, a loyalty program for independent veterinary practices. Under the agreement, the CareCredit health and wellness credit card is the exclusive financing partner for all mClub members, “providing independent clinics with a financial solution to offer pet owners to help them be financially prepared.”
Apply Now for Chewy Student Scholarship Program
The American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges and Chewy Health are accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of the Chewy Veterinary Leaders Program. Fifteen students will receive a $20,000 scholarship. After graduation, participants receive a six-month mentorship and professional development curriculum and access to the Chewy Veterinary Leaders alumni network. The application deadline is Nov. 4. Relief Company Roo Appoints VP of Data
Roo, a veterinary relief management platform, has named Albert James Mangahas as the company’s vice president of data, overseeing data strategy and insights. Mangahas previously was the chief data officer at the car-sharing company Turo.
New NVA Hire Will Focus on Modernization
National Veterinary Associates, which operates about 1,500 veterinary hospitals and pet resorts, has appointed Sean McDonald as head of enterprise transformation. According to NVA, McDonald will play a pivotal role in modernizing NVA’s systems, scaling digital capabilities and accelerating data-driven decision-making. He most recently served as chief financial officer for Aon’s Global Enterprise Client Group and Innovation portfolio.
