The key desires were:
- Responsiveness: 22% of respondents noted the importance of the customer service team’s quick and helpful responses.
- Professionalism and expertise: 13% appreciated positive interactions with skilled and compassionate veterinarians who clearly communicated knowledgeable advice.
- Less stress: 10% used telehealth to reduce a pet’s stress, especially when the animal had anxiety or health issues.
- Affordability:Â 6% liked telehealth as an affordable alternative to in-person visits.
Other notable findings included:
- Convenience:Â Some respondents appreciated having at-home appointments.
- Drug availability:Â Respondents mentioned the benefit of fast and reliable medication delivery.
- User-friendly platform:Â Pet owners liked being able to easily navigate the telehealth website.
- Efficacy:Â Respondents noted the importance of effective treatment plans and positive patient outcomes.
- Transparent advertising:Â Pet owners appreciated knowing which services the telehealth provider could and could not offer.
