Laura Olsen
Laura Olsen is Senior Vice President of U.S. Petcare. In this role, she leads the
commercial teams responsible for marketing, sales and professional services of cross-portfolio pet health solutions to our veterinary customers.
Laura brings nearly 15 years of extensive marketing expertise in human health and
animal health industries with positions at Novartis, Pfizer and Zoetis. She joined Pfizer
Animal Health (now Zoetis) in April 2011 as a marketing manager for the Pain,
Anesthesia and Sedation Portfolio, and has progressed into roles of increasing
responsibility. At Zoetis, she has supported key petcare solutions in the areas of Anti-
Infectives, Pain and Dermatology, and co-led the development of the new Zoetis
Petcare brand. Capitalizing on the growing bond between pet owners and their
animals, she also led the development of the Pet Effect campaign in partnership with
HABRI (The Human Animal Bond Research Institute). In May 2019, Laura became
Head of U.S. Petcare Marketing before assuming her current position as SVP of U.S.
Petcare in January 2020.
Laura received her B.A. in International Affairs & Business from George Washington University and is a member of the Forrester Marketing Leadership Council.
She and her husband, Gordon, reside in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey with their two dogs, Bodie (Lhasa Apso) and Tessa (Beagle-Terrier Mix).
