When did Leann first know she wanted to be in veterinary medicine?

“From the time I could talk and write, I wanted to be a horse vet. When my Mom passed away in 2003, I retrieved my “baby book” from our home. Starting in Kindergarten and then every year thereafter through elementary school, there was a page in the book that asked who your friends were, teacher’s name, what you wanted to be when you grew up, etc. On every single page I wrote a “horse vet.” It was absolutely a part of who I am from the time I could talk. I’m lucky to have always known what I wanted to be, and I pursued it and achieved it. Ultimately I love going to work every single day!”
